A beautiful sunny day, I made my way towards Tintern, to get an aerial photograph before popping into Lidl, Monmouth and home.

The photograph is of Bigsweir Bridge (1826AD) over the River Wye on A466 which is between Monmouth and Tintern. Half of the bridge is in Wales and the other in England, the border running down the middle of the river. In the picture you can see the old toll house. It also shows some nice autumnal colours!  The extra is an overhead photo' of vehicles crossing with traffic lights either side.

We collected granddaughter Amelia as we have her overnight. Great fun playing with her. She's reading her own bedtime story now. I always said she was bright - no idea where she gets that from!
