Kite Festival

Back blip from November 5, Sunday.

As the great New York Yankee catcher Yogi Berra said, "nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded".  That was the case of the Kite Festival at Fort Fisher today.  Driving there, the traffic stopped a few miles before the festival parking.  We turned around and drove to the northern end of the island and went for a walk on the beach.  As we were leaving the surfers began arriving (the surf app must have signaled that the waves were on their way).
