Ripening

This tree was a mass of blossom when we were here in early spring, and this is the result. It's possible some of them might be ripe before we leave.

I had a quiet day at home, hence the emergency terrace blip. It was a lovely almost windless day. S went into town and bought a sea bass which he barbecued for lunch. It was delicious, served with potatoes and Moroccan carrot salad. Mystère is enough of a gourmet to be well aware of the difference between this and frozen hake from Lidl, his normal fare, and there was plenty for him too.

Reading on the terrace later -- J's son B has written a film script called A cop and a vampire walk into a bar, which recently won a prize. He sent it to us to read -- it's far from my usual reading or film genre, but it is clever and entertaining and deserves to be made! Hopefully the prize will help him and it get noticed.
