Blessed Julie

My aunt is a Sister of Notre Dame. She was responsible for a rambling Victorian convent when it was redeveloped. There was no place in the new convent for this small marble sculpture. I volunteered to give it a good home until the nuns could find somewhere to put it. That was about 25 years ago and she has come with me from garden to garden. I would miss her if she ever went "home". I think she is the Blessed Julie Billiart (1751-1816), one of the founders of the Notre Dame Order from Namur in Belgium.
