Showers

The forecast was showers and sunny breaks. We are told this has been the wettest October in Yorkshire. since records began. We decided not to walk to Malham Cove, a wise decision, since this would have been one of the “showers“ that would have fallen on us. Instead, we drove around some of the wonderful countryside in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Such colours, the luscious green of the fields, white stone walls, and the purple, wild moorland above. We did see Malham Cove from a distance.
We saw lots of rainbows, too (extra).
