Tiny .......

 .............. Tuesday441  (TT441)  -  just a leaf  -  with thanks to osusanna for hosting this month. 

A beautiful day of blue sky and mainly sunshine and I spent at least half of it outside with "Nathan the Gardener" as we tackled the jungle that pretends to be my back garden.   He/we are making some headway.

Discovered that, when pruning laurel, buddleia, spirea and the like, that the lawn mower does a cracking job of chopping up all the leaves and soft branches into a very, very small pile (compared to unchopped)  -  with the added bonus of it cleaning out all the damp grassy bits that are stuck under said mower leaving it as clean as a whistle.

Nathan dragged 'em to the middle of the lawn grass, I mowed 'em up and deposited the little clippings into the brown bin for garden refuse - saved oodles of space!!   The added bonus is also that I don't have to pay for the time he would have spent snipping up branches  -  a win win situation.  :o))
