I'm back home for at least a week. Today I wandered (struggled) up into Skelghyll Woods and then down to the Low Wood hotel on the shore of Windermere where the Great North Swim is taking place..

So many shots today - mountain biker, air ambulance helicopter, buttercup meadow and more, but this photo of Windermere looking very bright, with the orange and yellow buoys and the safety boats, got my vote. The swimmers were rather insignificant -  the tiny pink, green and yellow dots   are the swimmers hats.

Watching it didn't inspire me to take part - I'll be sticking to a swimming pool.
