More Fungus

I was out for my walk just after 8:30 this morning and as I was walking in the woods the sun was just beginning to rise over the horizon and cast some rays amongst the trees.

I was fortunate to spot this fungus on the side of a log. I got the camera quite low down and you can see the sunshine was almost horizontal, nicely illuminating the both the tops undersides of the lobes.

The fungus has grown and enveloped an ivy stalk in a couple of places.
