Abstract Thursday - Man Made

For todays abstract challenge Ingeborg has asked us to show something man made.  I know this item is definitely man made because I know the man who made it - my father.

It is looking a bit worse for wear now, but it is probably getting on for70 years old.  I have put the original as an extra.  It is a marquetry cigarette box and lighter, on a tray.

To make it abstract I have given it a slight kaleidoscope filter and changed the colour somewhat.
