Romney Bridge

Continuing my exploration of Kendals river bridges . This is Romney Bridge, possibly the least interesting of the lot,  being a 1990 concrete structure replacing a footbridge  and linking Romney Road (hence its name) to Burton Road.  The only attractive feature is the mosaic in the pedestrian underpass at one end (extra). The mosaic was added in 2010  as part of a community project for young people. A definite improvement
