A huddle of fungi

Fungi are popping up in my autumny garden and they mainly huddle around the base of a decaying ash tree. I love the colours, shapes and textures of this type, which I can’t name without taking my ID book outside (again…)

I hope the weather has been kind to you all this week. In Cambridgeshire we are definitely tipping into winter now, the trees are turning colour quite rapidly but still much greenery around, it’s beautiful.
