Mallets

Started making the curtain for the living-room door this morning, and had hoped to finish it and hang it this afternoon. Then a text from MrM - he's only working for a half-day, and will be coming home at lunch time. After an unscheduled trip to the recycling centre with MrM this afternoon, with nine large bags of garden waste, and a couple of other distractions, the curtain has been put on hold. There'll be no time to finish it until next week. C'est la vie!

Excellent session at the jazz club this evening, with a slightly different dynamic to the music - vibraphone (with a very good player), sax, piano, base, and drums; no guitar. Interesting too - never seen a vibraphone in real life before!
