Canal in November

It's been an ideal day for an autumn walk and F and I went along the canal at Blakemere, Ellesmere as it's always lovely when the leaves have changed colour, I was just in time as there were lots of leaves falling.

There were quite a few boats moored there, a lovely place to stay.  The colours were beautiful so we really enjoyed it.

The title reminded me of a tune that is often played in our music sessions Le canal en octobre, a tune by Frederic Paris.

My extra is of a canal dog perched on the roof of it's boat. The dog and pigeon just ignored each other.
