Resting Place

Pleased to say all went well today for Julie's dads funeral . Not a packed church Family and a few friends and neighbours from the village but we gave him a good send off .
The funeral was in the village church followed by a burial in the church yard which was close to the church. He wanted to be buried and not cremated as he didn't like the thought of his body been burned .
I took this shot looking across the graveyard  as we walked away . As you can see pleased to say the weather was very kind to us a lovely Autumn scene .
A 5 minute walk to the pub where we held the wake. we was not sure how many would turn up so had catered for 25  about 18 attended so plenty to go round with doggy bags for everyone .
Back home via Aldi for a change as grace like their vegan range to get a few bits for Tea later. Relaxing now watching some of the late afternoon  quiz shows for background viewing .
We will then find something to watch later with Grace either a film or maybe some more Ted Lasso
