First flower bud

This is exciting! This Christmas cactus was grown from a leaf that fell off the ancient CC I saved from being abandoned over a decade ago. The ancient CC always flowers abundantly each winter. This is the first time I’ve grown an offshoot that also flowers! I’m positively aglow with happiness :)
