Had a bit of fun today

Two weeks after my new knee op I was resting my leg on a cane backed chair (see extra) with the weak sun shining through the canework which made a snake like shadow. I sent a photo to the surgeon's secretary asking her to enquire of the surgeon whether my metamorphosis would be permanent.

Today I had to meet the surgeon to be signed off. He lifted my trouser to have a look and nearly fell off his chair with laughter. Very satisfactory.
