Bass Rock

Samuel was playing in North Berwick this afternoon, at the Festival in the Lodge. Afterwards Fiona and he had a wander along the High Street while me, Sarah and Charlie took the air of the harbour. Sarah and I both took a photograph of a yellow pole on a jetty but hers was much better than mine so I settled for this zoom in on the Bass Rock. As I was adjusting the levels of this photo prior to uploading I was trying to rub off a cluster of stubborn smudges from the screen before I realised they are actually clouds of gannets circling the rock.
