Kefir

One of my daily pleasures is making my homemade Kefir. The Kefir grains are on the right. All I have to do to produce this healthy food is add raw milk to the grains and set aside in a cozy corner of my kitchen for 24 hours. Then - voila- we have this amazing, living, yogurt-like food, full of probiotics and pre-biotics which can be used in smoothies, on granola, in bread making, on fruit, etc. So simple and so cheap!
