Waterfest

Today was our annual Waterfest but unfortunately is was a bit of a wash out today due to the water coming out of the sky! Usually the towpath of the Kennet and Avon canal is lined with stalls relating to rivers, nature, ecology etc and there are morris dancers and local communities putting on displays. Both my sons were Sea Scouts and they did kayak displays and gave rides on their rib boat. The narrow boats are dressed up and boats of all shapes and sizes show themselves off.
A few years ago it was a great thing to go to but each year it seems to get less interesting.
