Angel mewn gorffwys

Angel mewn gorffwys ~ Angel at rest

“I charge thee fling away ambition; By that sin fell the angels, how can man then, The image of his Maker, hope to win by’t? Love thyself last; cherish those hearts that hate thee; Corruption wins not more than honesty. Still in thy right hand carry gentle peace, To silence envious tongues. Be just, and fear not! Let all the ends, thou aim’st at, be thy country’s, Thy God’s, and truth’s.”
― William Shakespeare, (Cardinal Wolsey, King Henry VIII, Act 3)

O gwmpas y fynwent maen nhw wedi bod yn torri'r glaswellt. Mae'n dda iawn i weld pobl yn gofalu am y lle. Rydw i'n meddwl bod llawer o waith i'w wneud yma, os oes rhywun yn gallu ffeindio'r amser. Mae llawer o'r beddau angen gwaith. Dyma un enghraifft. Mae'r angel yn gorwedd i lawr, fel llawer o'r garreg beddau. Yn yr achos hwn, fodd bynnag, mae hi'n edrych fel mae hi'n mewn gorffwys.

Around the cemetery they have been cutting the grass. It's really good to see people taking care of the place. I think there is a lot of work to be done here, if someone can find the time. Many of the graves need work. Here is one example. The angel is lying down, like many of the gravestones. In this case, however, she looks like she's at rest.
