A lovely day with coffee in bed followed by some desk work by me while Dd was logged into a conference in London. We then went to Calle de La Libertad and were bowled over by the number of trendy but appealing restaurants in a 100m stretch. We had a glass of wine in Vides Vinoteca (number 12 in the street) before lunch in Bazaar, both in extras. It’s a wonderful stretch for anyone visiting Madrid, including Café Libertad at number 8 which has three modern music concerts a day, and is where many prominent players, like Rosanna, on the Spanish music scene made their name.
