Original Cake Fridge Cake

A fine day, mostly sunny, the odd shower this morning.  A cold night.

Up fairly early on Saturday.  A few things sorted around the house, then headed into Lerwick for some shopping.  Headed out west to pick up a cake.  Headed to the Scalloway Boating Club to decorate the hall.  Walkies with Sammy late this afternoon, then ready for a night out.  A meal at the BC and party to follow. 

After Madeline turning 80 the other day, today is her birthday celebrations.  Friends and family gathered for a meal and live music tonight.  A great meal, it was followed by coffee and cake, the most delicious cake ever.  The cake was not only delicious, it looked spectacular too.  Made by the very talented Lynn Johnson from the Original Cake Fridge, well known across the isles and further afield.  Lynn with the cake, outside the Original Cake Fridge, East Burrafirth.
