Final bits of engine arrived today at Jay's, including a very, very shiny crank that has been balanced. So has my flywheel. I think the little car is going to be pretty quick when it's finished. Now I have to modify the rear brakes AGAIN to cope with the power. As Jay puts it, 'it's nae good ganning like the clappers, if ye canny stop the bugger, like'.
The bus he was fixing was beautiful. And all original panels too. IT had been imported from California, and the body has had absolutely no welding done whatsoever. I like it round at Jay's.
