Jupiter and Ganymede

The first decent clear spell in ages. Earlier in the evening I watched Ganymede transit across the face of Jupiter, casting an intensely dark shadow onto the planet's clouds. Unfortunately Jupiter hadn't risen very high so the seeing was poor resulting in rather mushy photos. Later in the night with the planet high in the sky I was able to get a much clearer result although Ganymede had by then travelled on in its orbit and the shadow had moved off Jupiter.
