What a day of weather!! And we've not even had the worst of Storm Debi here in Essex but it's been mad!

Got out first thing for a walk to the post office to send  off some mail, and bought a couple of birthday cards too. and then headed to the creek to enjoy the sunshine and this lovely postbox topper.  

A very blustery walk then followed with a few birds braving it - godwits, egrets, teal, grebe, cormorant - and as I walked back towards the station a black cloud of doom was approaching! Thankfully I got to the bus stop before the heavens opened!!  Puddles and flooding galore as it continued!! And now we're back to blue skies and very strong winds that have caused a bit of damage in the garden but i'll sort that out later! Never a dull moment with our weather eh!
