The twins are 40!

They were undiagnosed despite my being married to a GP and having a talented consultant.  Apparently they were only ‘one big baby’ but they duly arrived weighing six and a half pounds and eight and a half pounds. My other two children were completely unfazed at having two new siblings rather than one and were more interested that they had gone swimming with their friend Nicola.  The twins were going to be called Sam and Ruth or Ben and Rachel but we, or rather I, decided on the latter.  Steve was only happy we were all healthy and not that interested in names.  Steve had done a surgery in the morning before the birth and then returned to do an evening surgery.  Ben and Rachel have been a joy and I feel blessed at having got the best ‘two for one’ deal ever.
