Rest in Peace

I'm a volunteer at the RWA's Annual Open Exhibition in Bristol and on its first day I took a blip of the  picture , one of several hundred,  I would put on a wall at my home and this is it. 

Described as a Drawing : conte, coloured pencil on archival mylar.

Today a visitor came up to me and said she had met the artist Laurie Steen and asked me what was the meaning of the note '1970-29 October 2023' meant?

The Tribute to her recorded her recent death at the young age of 53.

So sad. It made the visitor cry....and me to want to cry.
