Flattened out

At long last we have cleared the access path from the front of the house to the garden, which means we will no longer have to cart garden refuse bags through the extension, or Rocky's abode as we might more accurately name it. I have fitted the padlock to the gate and raked some left over bags of sharp sand and cement over the earth to make it, hopefully, work as a path. I trod it down and filled a trough,  that my wife had dug out beneath the damp course of the garage, with pea shingle. The stimulus for doing this was the reroofing of the summerhouse which meant the roof timbers could be carried through on this path. So, that's another job ticked off the list.
