Help Yourself

Council Pick Up where you can put your junk out on the footpath to be collected, usually on designated days several times a year, can be a good idea.
It must be a real help for those without the means to otherwise dispose of it. However I do find it a bit odd that it’s a free service whereas if you load it on the ute and take it yourself to the tip, dump Waste Management and Recycling Resource Facility (as Mr isbi insists on doing) you pay a more than modest fee.
If you live in a more affluent area you can save a lot of money as often very nice items can be found.
However the pickings here look slim despite totally blocking the path.
