Where Am I From?

I have no idea where this wooden ornament originated. I inherited from my mum and it was probably a gift from a friend. I wonder if they brought it back from an exotic holiday, or picked it up in a charity shop!

Now it's part of my cat collection: 6.5cm high x 3cm wide x 1.5cm tall, tapering off at the ears.

A bright blip for a very dull day. So much for seeing Taurid meteors!
