Honey Mushrooms

A trip to the surgery this morning for my husband for his routine blood tests as well as an extra test, which has not been carried out before.

In the surgery car park, in the grassy area, there as some very beautiful fungus. Today’s picture is of what my app on my phone thinks might be a Honey Fungus; it is part of the class of Agaricomycetes. My husband has included a different one, just identified as a Common Gilled Mushroom, also from the same class.

A day of catching up and sorting out some of the pictures I took yesterday for the location theme for the u3a.

The temperature at noon today was twelve degrees Celsius.
