Ripples and late light

Not the evening we originally intended but extenuating circumstances meant a change of plan.

We ended up down by The Mere quite late in the evening and all was quiet after the first day of the food and drink festival. The air was alive with Swifts, Swallows and Martins taking advantage of the large amount of bugs in the area a lovely sight seeing them swirling over the surface of the lake.
