Fabulous Forties?

Today was Fabulous 40s Day in the park. Great fun, lots of people came dressed for the occasion and even brought picnic tables and chairs and proper tea cups!

There were enthusiasts with old farm machinery and soldiers with old military vehicles, brass bands with Vera Lynn lookalikes and various stalls.

I went with my camera and took loads of pics. People didn't mind having their photos taken so have a lot to play with. My eye was on shoes and hats, many came with authentic 40s styles.

Came across a woman pushing a posh Silver Cross park with baby and her shopping basket. She was wearing a tweed suit and hat and gloves, and that was just for shopping! Reminded me of my Mum.
