Sunset over the Kilbrannan Sound

Today should have been an easy trip to Arran. Drive to Ardrossan, get on the 12:30 ferry operated by MV Caledonian Isles. Be in Brodick by 13:30.

However it was not to happen as Caley Isles has developed a steering fault. So the alternative was a 100+ plus drive to the alternative ferry terminal at Claonaig on the Kintyre Peninsula.

It was a calm voyage across and we got marvellous sunset views. The main picture is looking south down Kilbrannan Sound, and the extra photo is looking to the Kintyre Peninsula.
