Es i i'r pentref y prynhawn 'ma i bostio parsel, gwneud tipyn bach o siopa ac yn crwydro o gwmpas i'r fynwent fel arfer.

Yn y noswaith aethon ni i'r dathliad o fwy nag ugain mlynedd o Rhyng-fydd yng Nghaerdydd. Dechreuodd e pan ddaeth grŵp o grefyddau gwahanol gyda'i gilydd ar ôl 1af Medi 2001. Roedd hyn yn ysbrydoliaeth o'r diweddar Rhodri Morgan, Prif Weinidog Cymru ar y pryd. Roedd bod e'n gyfle i adeiladu pontydd a gobaith, yn hytrach na syrthio i drais ac anobaith.  Mae'r grŵp wedi bod yn gweithio ers hynny. Roedd yn ingol, gyda digwyddiadau yn y Dwyrain Canol, ond i weld pobl o grefyddau gwahanol dod at ei gilydd i weithio am heddwch yn rhoi gobaith.

Roedd e noson hyfryd gyda pherfformiad o ganeuon a dawns; areithiau, bwyd, a siawns i gyfle i gymysgu. Roedd synnwyr o integreiddio ac amrywiaeth, ac wrth gwrs, gobaith.

I went to the village this afternoon to post a parcel, do a bit of shopping and wander around the cemetery as usual.

In the evening we went to the celebration of more than twenty years of Interfaith in Cardiff. It started when a group of different religions came together after 1st September 2001. This was inspired by the late Rhodri Morgan, the First Minister of Wales at the time. It was an opportunity to build bridges and hope, rather than falling into violence and despair. The group has been working ever since. It was poignant, with events in the Middle East, but to see people of different religions come together to work for peace gives hope.

It was a lovely evening with a performance of songs and dance; speeches, food, and a chance to mingle. There was a sense of integration and diversity, and of course, hope.
