The final finishing touchs of the wedding rings

The son of an elderly couple, living in our elderly care home, is getting married  21 th nov. So the father and son asked me if i could photograph the event? Of course it is a yes. It will only be a small ceremony at the town hall and afterwards we will be invited for a meal. So the father told me , it would be nice if you could photograph some aspects from the making of the wedding rings . As the jewellers are friends of mine, it could be easily done. Well a few days after another colleague asked if i could photograph the wedding of her brother? If i was a few years younger i would have done. But is back to the 80 ties nineties since i have done wedding photography. To cover a whole day from church to evening party, i am not keen on that.i wouldn t have asked money , but i don t know what the couple is expecting. Some want those posed like photographs others want it more nonconventional as i do. So i refused which she understood.
