Cafe Ventoux

We had a long drive to Leicester and back today to attend the memorial service and internment of my uncle’s ashes.

We stopped off at Cafe Ventoux en route. A surprising cafe/bicycle shop seemingly in the middle of nowhere. It’s actually on the National Cycle route at Tugby in Leicestershire but hidden down a lane.

We had one of their all day breakfasts, this was sourdough toast with avocado, sun blush tomatoes, a poached egg and wilted spinach. Very delicious it was too and kept us going for the rest of the day.
