Late Agapanthus

According to the catalogue, this agapanthus should flower between July and September in the northern hemisphere. It is called Poppin Purple, one of the modern repeat flowering varieties and it should have a longer flowering period than most - but outside in mid-November?? I took the photo during a brief break in the rain which is why the flower is soaking wet. However, I liked the light catching the water droplets.
