Confused

Yes, confused! This is actually the photo for 17th, but it seems that yesterday's photo go ahead of itself, and has uploaded for that date. So I've pushed this one back a day. You're probably confused now too!

We drove down to Buxton this afternoon for another concert, this time by ''Fascinating Aida, on their 40th Anniversary tour. They were absolutely hilarious. Unfortunately, no photography allowed in the theatre.

Tonight we're staying in a room with a four-poster bed, because it was the cheapest available. On the wall is a portrait of Mary Queen of Scotts (sic) "after a miniature"; her eyes seem to follow you around the room! Apparently The New Hall Hotel, reputed to be the oldest hotel in Britain, was built with the sanction of Queen Elizabeth First, to provide accommodation for Mary Queen of Scots who was under house arrest at the time.
