Escape from Pompeii

We made the four-hour drive to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, our 20th amusement park this year. We rode the new coaster, DarKoaster. That was my 412th roller coaster and the 52nd new coaster I've ridden this year. What a year!

This photo is Escape from Pompeii, a water ride. It doesn't operate during Christmas Town. Instead, it gets this spectacular light display.

I also go two rides on Alpengeist, which I hadn't ridden in years. It might be my favorite coaster there. Both rides were at night, which made it even better.
