Fireworks

Tonight was the switch on of the village lights. complete with a firework display, a street market, entertainment and father Christmas.
Unfortunately it was raining for the main event so I didn't go but we could see the firework display from our house. Pity the street light gets in the way. Reports on facebook seemed to indicate everyone had a good time. The main street was closed from 11am to 8pm for them to set it all up.

Earlier it was quite mild with blue sky's we went for a nice walk with the dog, but the rain came down about11 and has stayed with us all day.

A quiet day all round.

Shame Angela Ripon was knocked out of Strictly.  Not unexpected though, as they seem to know who they have picked as the winner.
I do wish they wouldn't keep saying last night when we all know the results are done on Saturday not Sunday as they try to make out.
