Up early doors* for the papers and a photograph. Much later Norway scored early doors (three minutes to be precise) in their match against Scotland and spoilt the party somewhat by scoring late on to gain a draw. Thank goodness we had already qualified for the Euros in Germany next year otherwise it would no doubt have been the usual stressed out tale of glorious failure for us. Still, you can't win them all. (Another well known and frequently used phrase in Scottish football).
