My friend and I intended to have a quick coffee and then go inside to the Frederick Church exhibition.

This shows why we were still there an hour and a half later.

The castellated silhouette in the background is the HQ building of our once-admired Bank of Scotland, brought low like Britain's other banks through causes still being debated but often considered to include carelessness, arrogance and greed.
