Doves and paper aeroplanes

We had an amazing beautiful day here in Aberdeen.

During Sunday School we made paper doves and the kids decided to see if they would fly with very disappointing results as all the doves plummetted to the ground. However not to be undone by this small technicality a few individuals my daughter Erica included, decided to build paper aeroplanes for the doves to "fly" in.

If you look very closly at Ericas plane you will see the dove in the pilots seat.

The paper planes flew much better although I don't think we will be breaking any long distance records.

After church we visited friends and had a great afternoon, before rushing off to take Erica to her swimming lesson.

All in all it was a great Fathers Day
