All aglow

Having a lovely time in Liverpool for my granddaughter’s first birthday. We had a party in the church hall on Saturday, wonderfully old-fashioned with home-made cakes and buns, with low-alcohol fizz for the adults! There was even a balloon arch which everyone piled under for photos.

The thing that impressed me was that it wasn’t just mums accompanying their little charges, but all the dads too. It bodes well for the offspring!

Today we went to ‘baby sensory’ where the little Baggins had lots of fun. I’m off home tomorrow and will miss the little chick.
