Linnets

There were four separate flocks of Linnets flying from tree to tree around the house this afternoon. They’ve been here for a few days and there are hundreds of them. I’ve only ever seen these birds in ones before. Very unusual to have them here and I wonder how long they will stay. They are quite noisy too. It was difficult to get a photo against the sky but I liked their outlines on this one.
