Marguerite Duras. And shakshuka.

I've just had late supper, but I'm still thinking back to the shakshuka I ate earlier today. Damn I love shakshuka. That intense flavour of tomato and pepper, and with the cracked egg in the middle. And the hummus that wraps the chili heat in its smooth, cool nuttiness. And the feta cheese. The times I actually appreciate that pungent salt taste of feta are so rare, but here it fits. And cilantro. The herb above all herbs. Has an outstanding ability to make the heavy, dark and fat more elegant, lighter, lively.
Damn that's good. Shakshuka. 

(Ok, I'm going to stop saying it now.)
