Postio'r Taj Mahal o'r sychlanhawyr

Postio'r Taj Mahal o'r sychlanhawyr ~ Posting the Taj Mahal from the dry cleaners

“To be means to inter-be. A flower has to inter-be with everything else. She has to inter-be with the sunshine, with the cloud, with everything else. She doesn't have a separate existence. Being means co-being. Existing means co-existing.”
― Thich Nhat Hanh

Un o'r rhyfeddodau bywyd modern yw y gallwch chi posti'ch parseli o'r sychlanhawyr.  Heddiw gwerthodd Nor'dzin ei Taj Mahal model ac aethon ni â fe i'r sychlanhawyr i'w postio fe i'r perchennog newydd. Bydd e'n anrheg Nadolig i rywun , rydyn ni'n meddwl.

Mae'r sychlanhawyr yn agos aton ni, dim ond draw'r comin.  Yn ogystal ag actio fel swyddfa bost, maen nhw'n printio ffotograffau, trwsio dillad, ac (mae wedi si) maen nhw'n glanhau dillad hefyd.

One of the wonders of modern life is that you can post your parcels from the dry cleaners. Today Nor'dzin sold her Taj Mahal model and we took it to the dry cleaners to post it to the new owner. It will be a Christmas present for someone, we think.

The dry cleaners are close to us, just across the common. As well as acting as a post office, they print photographs, mend clothes, and (rumour has it) clean clothes too.
