Fairies or Witches

This is the well known circle of Beech trees in Eaves Wood
( NT ) Silverdale.


It is said that if you come here in the night when the moon is full you may see fairies or witches. I think it would be fairies as I know lots of ladies in the village and I can only think of one who could play the part of a witch. And she is a delightful friend but as a talented actress she would be very good in MacBeth.
