Wound up in Wexford

Morning walk

We dropped the car off to get its new windscreen.  The windscreen place is on an industrial estate a good kilometre out of New Ross.  Initially we had thought we would walk in to the town, but we had second thoughts as we started out down the road.

First call - a service station with a shop/coffee shop.  We sat and had coffee, and having discovered that the new Greenway was accessible, decided to walk out of town along this.

Mindful of the fact that, although initially told they wanted the car for 4 hours, we had got the impression that it might in fact be quicker, we only walked a couple of kilometres out, stopping frequently to take photos and enjoy a rather pleasant walk, before turning back.

We stopped for another cuppa at the service station, and were pleased to get a phone call less than 3 hours after leaving the car, to tell us that it was ready.  The automatic wiper setting seems to be working satisfactorily.

We stopped off in New Ross on the way home to buy a rowan tree that had previously caught our eye at a garden centre, and then came home.

I spent a while fluting, then we ate dinner early so I could go to band practice.
